User data deletion
How to ask Asha Nandanvan to delete the personal information we hold, including data from
Facebook or Google sign-in. Last updated 27 September 2026.
Ask us to delete your data
Email admin@ashanandanvan.com.au with the subject
Data deletion request. Say that you want your Asha Nandanvan account and
personal information deleted, and include:
- the email address you use to sign in
- whether you used Google, Facebook, or both
- any order numbers you still have (optional, but it helps us find the right records)
We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, in line with the Australian Privacy
Principles. We may reply from the same address to confirm it was you.
You can also send the same request through our
Facebook page
if you cannot use email.
If you signed in with Facebook
Removing our app in Facebook does not always delete the copy we already stored. Please email
us as well. To disconnect Facebook Login:
- Open Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
- Find Asha Nandanvan (or the Facebook app name you approved).
- Remove the app. Facebook may then send us a deletion notice if that connection is still configured.
After you remove the app, Facebook will stop sharing your name and email with us for new
sign-ins. Any future visit will need Google, a new Facebook approval, or a guest checkout
if we offer one.
If you signed in with Google
You can remove site access in your Google Account under third-party access, and email us so
we delete the account on this site too.
What we delete
Once we verify the request, we delete or de-identify:
- your sign-in account (email, display name, roles)
- the Google and Facebook login links stored for that account
- your saved basket
- pet name and breed on open or upcoming stays, unless we must keep a short safety note for an active stay that has not yet finished
What we may keep
Australian tax law and the Australian Consumer Law can require us to keep a limited record of
what was ordered, paid, and when. We do not keep that so we can market to you. We reduce it
to what we still need (for example an order number and amount, without your login), then
delete or de-identify the rest when we no longer need it.
We may also keep information if NSW law or a Penrith City Council or police request requires
it — for example a serious animal incident. That is uncommon. We will tell you if we cannot
delete something, and why, unless the law stops us from saying so.
Signing out yourself
Use Sign out in the header to end this browser session. Clearing cookies
removes the signed-in cookie and a guest basket on this device. That does not delete your
account on our server — email us for that.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a deletion request, email us first. You may then
contact the
Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
The full practice is in our Privacy policy.
